By law any rental property that has gas appliances are required to have annual checks to ensure these appliances are working correctly and are up to current gas regulations.

We can carry out landlord gas safety checks for £65 + VAT and just like the servicing we will remind you each year that your property is due to be checked. If you would like a boiler or fire serviced at the same time this is an additional £40 + VAT per appliance.

We work closely with letting agents in Gloucestershire, as well as private landlords. We can arrange checks directly with your tenants, so you don’t have to. If you have multiple properties that you would like us to carry out checks at, please contact our office and we can discuss the options with you.

Carbon Monoxide Alarms

Gas appliances can produce a highly poisonous gas called carbon monoxide when the gas doesn’t burn as it should. This can happen when appliances aren’t maintained or when vents, flues or chimneys become blocked. It isn’t always that easy to spot if carbon monoxide is being produced by your appliance as it is an odourless, colourless and tasteless gas. The best way to protect yourself from Carbon Monoxide poisoning is to install a CO alarm. This will sound an alarm when it senses a certain amount of carbon monoxide in the air over time. We can install an alarm for you, call our office to book an appointment. It’s also important to have your gas appliances serviced and checked regularly.
